The Amesbury SEPAC (Special Education Parent Advisory Council) is a group of parents, educators, and community members dedicated to supporting the needs of students with disabilities in our district. The mission of the Amesbury SEPAC is to work for the understanding of, respect for and support of all children with special needs in the community.
Here you will find many resources to help you as a parent or caregiver of a child with special needs, along with details on upcoming social gatherings, informational meetings and more.
Every public school district in Massachusetts is required to establish a SEPAC. Massachusetts state regulations assigns both an advisory and participatory function to SEPACs. A SEPAC serves all families of children with neurodiverse and disability needs from the entire school district.
Amesbury SEPAC facilitates collaboration between families, the Amesbury School District and staff, the School Committee, and the community in order to promote inclusion, understanding of, respect for, and support of all children with diverse needs in our community.
